Notch View Campground
All of our sites have majestic mountain views and are large enough to fit any size RV. All RV sites have water, sewer and electricity. We have two spring fed ponds, private nature trails, and fire pits at each site. Unfortunately our pool is in need of repair and closed as are our public bathrooms. RV's must be self sufficient in use of bathrooms and tent sites are closed down. We are three miles east of downtown Colebrook.
In addition we have a rental camper and a glamping site in the secluded woods.
Our Historic Inn was originally built in the late 1800's and moved by oxen down the mountain to its present location in 1929, just before the Depression hit New England. Also moved down and attached to the farm house was the original Colebrook one room schoolhouse built in the early 1800's. This is currently our kitchen and office. Our 34 acres was the homestead portion of the several hundred acre farm originally known as the Royal Farms, one of the largest dairy farms in New Hampshire. Although it has been renovated much of the original knotty pine walls and structure still remain visible.
The Inn has five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half baths. Our rooms are set up for your comfort and privacy. Our rooms are furnished with tempurpedic or sleep number mattresses for your comfort. Our Inn is more than rooms it provides the comfort of being home. Group pricing starts at 1-6 people with a maximum of 10 guests. You will have access to a full kitchen, living room, dining room, enclosed sunroom and a large outside deck . We also have a large deck outside open. The Inn provides a romantic setting at both sunrise and sunset on our deck or enclosed porch.
